Description: Victorian antique gold filled mesh slide or garter bracelet; this type originally were worn as a matching pair, one on each arm, by a bride and now are also known as bride's bracelets. The flat gold filled mesh chain wraps through a slide and can be adjusted by pulling the chain through to shorten or lengthen. It has an etched end piece with a chain tassel and a smaller slide that holds the end flat. The main slide, which can not be removed, is a star shape and etched in t e corners. The center is an open diamond shape with a square wire design set with a trio of seed pearls and with genuine garnets set in each corner of the diamond.
