Description: Vintage amethyst cabochon and fluorite bead necklace; a massive deep amethyst oval cabochon set into a sterling silver bezel with a twisted rope silver wire around the base. The top of the frame is a sterling spiral and leaf with a silver wire completely encircling the frame. The pendant is on a rainbow fluorite bead chain, 8mm round beads spaced with elongated beads each flanked by sterling beaded cluster beads. Filigree push-in clasp. Tests positive sterling silver and weighs right around 100g total weight. Originally purchased sometime between 1992 and 2011 from a gem show in the Northwest.
