Description: Victorian white lava cameo brooch depicting Cupid with a quiver of arrows, playing a lyre and sitting on a large rock. Carved in very high relief and mounted in a 14K gold frame with a wide bezel and twisted wire around the base. Hinged pin with simple c-clasp. The frame tests for 14k gold, no markings. It may not be the original mount; note the thin line of glue visible on the back around the edge. The cameo was either cut to fit into this frame or was not secure, so glue was added at some point,
