Description: Victorian high relief shell cameo pendant; the deeply carved and detailed right facing female bust is mounted on a hidden 14k gold frame. The shading of the natural shell is lovely with the artist leaving the darker, highest relief areas for her hair. Mount tests positive for 14K gold.
The spring ring clasp attached to the bale is not original and can be removed.
