Chinese Export Buddha Scrimshaw Brooch

 Description:  Antique early 20th century Chinese Export scrimshaw mounted in a silver frame brooch; the very detailed carving depicts Buddha with sun rays radiating out around his head and flowers in the corners. The rectangular frame is ornate silver filigree, likely 800 silver. Hallmarked 'China' on the back.
