Description: Vintage Miriam Haskell Russian gold plated tassel necklace and matching clip earrings. The tassel is on a thick gold chain with opaque red glass ruffle beads linked on both sides and is made with a gold wire wrapped centerpiece capped with gold tone leaves cups. Three thick chains hang from another leafy end cap, each chain ends with a pair of opaque red glass beads. The clasp is classic Haskell wired with a red glass bead surrounded by gold seed beads. Necklace shown doubled on the form. The matching earrings have the same thick chain wrapped around the leafy cup with a red glass beads inside. Signed 'Miriam Haskell' on the back of the clasp only.
The earrings have been reinforced at some point with glue. You can see the original wire holding the chain together and to the gold tone filigree backs, but there is also glue, so I'm assuming these were loose at one time, not unusual for vintage Haskell. The back is just slightly off center on one earring.
Size: Necklace: 25" with 5 1/2: drop; earrings:1 1/4" dia.
Condition: Very good overall, see description for details
