Description: WWII era Hobé gold fill over sterling brooch and matching screw post earrings. The brooch features a 3-dimensional flower with an aqua marine stone center, a large leaf, spiral stems and ribbon bow encircled in a round sterling wire frame. The matching earrings are each a smaller flower with the aqua stone center beneath a trio of leaves. Signed 'Hobé Sterling 1/20 14K' and 'US Design Pat 12678?' .The last number is mostly gone, but likely is 126787, based on the patent drawing and dated 1941. Earrings are signed only 'Sterling' on the posts.
