Description: Brooch, unsigned, has tested for sterling though not marked. Mid-century realistic, this brooch appears to be an studio artist piece, though there is no signature. A very 3-dimensional and large tulip swirls into the middle of an oval frame, a looping bow with trailing ribbons at the top left. Inside the tulip (I think it's a tulip) are five stamens. Several similar brooches are shown in Silver Jewelry Designs by Nancy Schiffer, page 226.
