Item #: h23
Description: This pin has every characteristic of
Coro created in the early forties. There is no legible signing. Two green enameled gold plated
leaves with a cut out center. They flip up at the end to an underside set with clear rhinestone
chatons. A bow of gold set with small clear rhinestones is found on one side of the flower and
streamers follow the line of the stem which is set with tiny clear rhinestones. The flower has
multi-layered gold plated petals, the outside enameled in maroon. The stamen inside the flower is
on a spring so it trembles and it's set with ruby and clear rhinestones. All of the stones are
glued. None are missing. A few of the small chatones glued in the bow and stem are less vibrant
than the others, but still easily seen. It does not appear that any of the stones have been
replaced. It is just an amazing piece that has either been treated with loving care by its owner
or has been carefully stored for many years.
